Love this place. I go here every few weeks to pick up parts. They have a great variety of components and tools for hobbyist electronics. The store is clean and orderly, and the staff is friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I like how they often have boxes of miscellaneous old-stock components under their sorted parts. E.g., I grabbed a few BNC adapters from the jar of misc adapters placed under their wall of sorted BNC crimp-on connectors. There's always an interesting find lurking in here to give me new project ideas!

Recalling years gone by. Worked at ESL in Sunnyvale (495 Java Dr.) in the middle 70's, and visited Anchor Electronics quite often to buy parts for a project I was working on. I vaguely recall a lady owner/manager being there with a dog (?). Excellent source for electronics and mechanical parts (wire-wrap sockets, etc). I'm retired now and live in Baguio City, Philippines .... still do personal electronic projects .... can't give it up, AND I STILL HAVE ITEMS I PURCHASED FROM ANCHOR. Larry Smith

Hidden gem of a store, excellent selection, excellent staff. They offer parts and components at market - competitive prices, but you get them right away. You will find heat sinks, IC components, cable parts, etc. here for less $$ than you will online, and you get genuine parts.

I finally found a hobby electronics store near me. You can find components like resistors, capacitors, LEDs, transistors, servos etc. Staff were very helpful too.

absolutely perfect. I am a technician. I am under time pressure. They had something very unusual. They are very nice people. I have to get back to the repair, but I really didn't wanna leave. What a great store. A real treasure for someone who uses electronics in their work.

This is a great store. We went there looking for a clamp-type ammeter, but unfortunately they didn't have one. However, when we asked the person who seemed to be the owner, he was very kind and asked around with many people, and told us about the GRAINGER store, and we finally got what we were looking for. We were very happy that they treated us, Japanese business travelers, so kindly, even though we asked in broken English. Next time we have a problem with electronic parts, we will definitely come here. Thank you very much.

I was on a short visit to Cupertino and managed to visit Anchor Electronics at the last minute :-) I stepped in around 3:40PM (20 minutes before the shop close time) but the friendly and extremely helpful staff managed to find the big list of components I was looking. Amazing collection of components and not just a shop, more like a museum :-) they have small grab-bag like offers too (good deals indeed) Prices are very reasonable and the component quality is exceptional. Make sure to study the inventory first (you can find it in the website) then come up with a list of components you want! that will help everyone! Also make sure to go there early so you can take time and explore the collections! So glad to see Alicia! and please convey my best regards to the gentleman who helped me with finding all of my transistors and ICs <3 ! Hope to see you soon again!

Where else can you still drive and buy the one component you need for your vintage computer restoration ? I hope this place stays there for a looooong time. They're the best.

Real electronics store. Buy individual components for your project, building blocks for Arduino or Pi. The staff is excellent, pricing low.- truly a gem!

Pillar of the community. Friendly and helpful, and one of the last places around that still sells individual components, and at downright good prices too. In a day and age when the only alternative is often taking a risk with obfuscated suppliers on the internet, these guys are holding the line. Shop local.
